2 Injured in Abilene, TX, Rollover Accident on Treadaway Blvd.

Abilene, TX -- March 14, 2017, two people sustained injuries following an accident in which a car wreck on Treadaway Boulevard caused one to flip over.

Authorities from the Abilene Police Department report that the two-vehicle accident occurred around 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of Treadaway Boulevard and 27th Street.

Their preliminary investigations indicate that two vehicles somehow crossed paths at the intersection and collided into each other. One of them, an SUV, rolled over repeatedly, eventually coming to a stop on its roof.

Emergency medical teams came to the scene, and two people were transported from the scene with unspecified injuries. It's unclear from which vehicle they came.

The cause of the accident is still being investigated. No additional details are currently available.
