Bernando Campos Killed, Miranda Harber Hurt in Accident in Cedar Point, KS

Cedar Point, KS -- A crash in the area of Cedar Point, KS claimed the life of 35-year-old Bernando Campos and left 31-year-old Miranda Harber with injuries Sunday, March 12, 2017.

Police officials claim the vehicle occupied by the victims was westbound on US-50 around 4 a.m. when it collided with the semi-truck. The SVU allegedly struck the fourth axle of a semi, sending it back into the westbound lanes of the highway.

Mr. Campos was killed at the scene of the incident. Ms. Harber, the passenger in the SUV, was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.

The report made no mention of other injuries in the collision.

Authorities are examining the details of the incident currently.
