Teen Killed in Houston, TX, Russian Roulette Accident

Houston, TX -- March 10, 2017, a teenager suffered fatal injuries as the result of an accident where he shot himself while playing Russian Roulette.

Authorities rushed to the residence, located on Greenham Drive, at approximately 9:30 a.m. According to preliminary investigations, the 15-year-old boy and another teenage boy were at the residence, reportedly playing Russian Roulette.

As the 15-year-old played, he shot himself in the head, inflicting critical injuries. He was rushed to the hospital where he died the following day. The other teenager was not injured.

At this time, authorities have not confirmed at whose house the accident occurred, and there is no word on where the gun came from or who might have owned it.

Investigations are currently ongoing.
