Woman Killed, Two Hurt in Montcalm Co., MI Accident at Mt. Hope Road

Montcalm County, MI -- A collision in the area of Montcalm County, MI claimed the life a 61-yer-old woman and left a 74-year-old woman and a 70-year-old victim with injuries.

The incident took place at Mt. Hope Road around 10:18 a.m.

According to the report, a Ford Ranger driven by a 67-year-old man was eastbound on Sidney Road. The vehicle then entered the intersection of Mt. Hope Road when it was hit by a Chrysler headed south.

The deceased victim was a passenger in the Ford.

The driver of the Chrysler and a 70-year-old passenger were injured in the incident.

The cause of the collision had yet to be determined at the time of the report.

The official investigation into the incident is ongoing and may reveal more details as it concludes.
