Ruben Moreno Injured in Amarillo, TX, Motorcycle Accident

Amarillo, TX -- March 10, 2017, Ruben Moreno sustained serious injuries due to an accident in which his motorcycle crashed off the roadway.

Authorities from the Amarillo Police Department responded to the accident scene at around 1:00 a.m. along 26th Street.

Their preliminary accident reports indicated that 38-year-old Moreno was riding a motorcycle westbound along 26th. For reasons that have yet to be determined, the motorcycle lost control and swerved left off-road. It struck the median and ejected Moreno off the vehicle.

As a result of the crash, Moreno suffered injuries said to be life-threatening. He was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

No particular factors were mentioned by police investigators. They say the crash is still being investigated.
