Matt Hickman Killed in Accident near Pyramid Lake, CA

Pyramid Lake, CA -- A collision between a passenger car and a pedestrian claimed the life of Matt Hickman in the area of Pyramid Lake, CA Sunday, March 5, 2017.

The incident took place on Interstate 5 around 4:50 a.m.

The report claims Mr. Hickman was in an initial collision. At some point, the victim exited the vehicle and began to run across the lanes on the highway. In doing so, Mr. Hickman was struck by a passing vehicle.

Mr. Hickman was killed at the scene of the incident.

The official investigation is ongoing and may reveal more details as it concludes.
