Karen Mann Killed, Three Hurt in Town of Alabama, NY

Town of Alabama, NY -- A crash in the area of Town of Alabama, NY claimed the life of 56-year-old Karen Mann and left three people with injuries Monday, March 6, 2017.

The incident took place on Route 77.

Police officials say a passenger vehicle was headed north when it veered off the road, crashing into a tree. The cause of the incident had yet to be determined, but the report claims the driver may have suffered a medical issue.

One passenger in the vehicle, 56-year-old Karen Mann, was killed at the scene of the incident.

The driver of the car and two others were left with non-life threatening injuries.

The official investigation into the incident is currently underway.

The preliminary press release provided no further information regarding the collision.
