David Gildon Killed, Chason Biggs & Two Others Injured in Accident in Hamilton County, TN

Hamilton County, TN -- A single-vehicle crash in the area of Hamilton County, TN claimed the life of 49-year-old David Gildon and injured 22-year-old Chason Biggs and two others Tuesday, March 7, 2017.

The incident took place at 6400 Bayshore Drive around 11 p.m.

According to police, the vehicle occupied by the victims caught fire following the crash. Mr. Gildon was killed at the scene of the incident. Mr. Biggs, the passenger in the vehicle, was critically injured in the crash.

Two sheriff's deputies received minor burns while attempting to free the victims from the wreckage.

The official investigation into the crash is ongoing and may reveal more details as it concludes.
