Boy Injured in Waco, TX, Bicycle Accident on Alexander

Waco, TX -- March 9, 2017, a child was injured as the result of an accident in which he was struck by a vehicle on Alexander Avenue.

Waco emergency crews were called to the suburban neighborhood around 1:00 p.m. The incident happened at the intersection of Alexander Avenue and North 30th Street.

According to preliminary police investigations, a child, whose age was not specified, was riding a bicycle in the intersection when a vehicle somehow failed to see him. A collision occurred, knocking the boy onto the roadway.

Emergency services transported the boy to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center. His injuries were not specified. Authorities did not say if any charges or citations were failed after the accident.
