Arlene Blanco Injured in Uvalde, TX, Hit-and-run Accident

Uvalde, TX -- March 4, 2017, Arlene Blanco was injured as the result of an accident where she was hit by a vehicle that then fled the scene.

Police responded to the scene in the late night hours at The Huddle sports bar, located at 226 North Getty Street.

Police reports claim that 22-year-old Blanco was walking away from a vehicle, the tire of which she reportedly slashed just moments earlier. As she walked away, a vehicle failed to see her and struck her onto the roadway. The vehicle immediately fled the scene.

Blanco was transported to a hospital with unspecified injuries. Authorities did not say if she was facing charges.

Details on the suspect vehicle are currently unclear. Police continue their investigations.
