William Henry Day Killed, Megan Dodson Hurt in Accident in Orange County, VA

Orange County, VA -- A crash in the area of Orange County, VA took the life of 82-year-old William Henry Day and left 26-year-old Megan Dodson with injuries Thursday, March 2, 2017.

The incident took place on Indiantown Road around 4:20 p.m.

According to the reports, the vehicle occupied by Mr. Day was northbound on Indiantown Road when it approached the intersection of Russel Run Road. The Acura then collided with an oncoming vehicle occupied by Ms. Dodson.

Mr. Day was initially taken to a nearby hospital, but died days later.

Ms. Dodson was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

The official investigation is currently underway.
