Raeme Shay Giovacchini Killed in Accident in Wellington, NV

Wellington, NV -- Friday, February 24, 2017: A single-vehicle collision in Wellington, NV took the life of 18-year-old Raeme Shay Giovacchini.

The incident took place on SR829.

Nevada Highway Patrol say they were called to the scene of the incident around 7:45 p.m. Officials say the woman's vehicle was headed south on SR829 when it veered right and off the roadway. The vehicle then left onto the roadway, overcorrected, lost control again, flipped over, and struck a power pole. Ms. Giovacchini was ejected from the vehicle and was killed at the scene of the incident. The report made no other mention of injuries in the crash.

The official investigation is currently underway.
