Woman Killed in Route 20 Accident in Burns Harbor, IN

Burns Harbor, IN -- A crash in the area of Burns Harbor, IN took the life of a 52-year-old woman Sunday, March 5, 2017.

According to the report, the collision happened on Route 20.

It looks like the vehicle occupied by the victim was westbound on Route 20 when the incident happened. At some point, the vehicle veered out of control, crashed into a ditch, and hit a utility box. The vehicle then reportedly flipped over, striking three other vehicles at a nearby Kia dealership. The report made no mention of other injuries in the crash.

The woman involved in the crash was killed at the scene.

There was no further information made available by the report.
