Ashley Greubel, Joseph Gruebel Killed in Truck Accident in Indianola, IA

Indianola, IA -- A crash between a passenger car and a tractor-trailer claimed the lives of 32-year-old Ashley Greubel and 36-year-old Joseph Greubel Tuesday, March 7, 2017.

Local police officials say the incident took place around 3:50 a.m. on U.S. Highway 65/59.

According to the reports, the married couple's passenger vehicle collided with a big rig. Ashley and Joseph Greubel were killed at the scene of the incident. The exact cause of the incident had yet to be disclosed at the time of the report. The driver of the semi-truck was left without injuries.

The official investigation into the incident is ongoing and may reveal more details as it concludes.
