Brent Northagen Killed in Accident in Grand Forks County, ND

Grand Forks County, ND -- A single-vehicle crash in the area of Grand Forks County, ND claimed the life of 35-year-old Brent Northagen Tuesday, March 7, 2017.

The incident took place on Highway 2 around 1:30 a.m.

According to the reports, Mr. Northagen's vehicle was traveling the wrong way down the highway. At some point on the roadway, the vehicle crashed into a bridge.

The wreckage came to a stop near a creek.

Mr. Northagen was killed at the scene of the incident.

The report made no mention of other injuries in the collision.

Authorities are currently examining the details of the incident in the hopes of determining the cause.

There was no further information at the time of the report's release.
