Neil Zerbe Killed in Davison Township, MI, Truck Accident

Davison Township, MI -- March 2, 2017, Neil Zerbe suffered fatal injuries after an accident where his minivan collided with a box truck.

Investigators from the Davison Township Police Department were called to investigate the three-vehicle accident scene at about 9:00 p.m.

Their preliminary reports indicate that 33-year-old Zerbe was traveling westbound along Davison Road in a minivan. Close to the intersection of Vassar Road, his vehicle reportedly drifted into oncoming traffic where it collided head-on with an eastbound box truck. The minivan spun to a stop in eastbound lanes where it was struck by another vehicle.

As a result of the collision, Zerbe suffered critical injuries from which he died at the scene. No other injuries were reported.

Authorities have not yet determined what factors contributed to the accident. They say the accident is still under investigation.
