Laura Moreno Killed, Efren C. Hinojos Injured in Accident in Midland, TX

Midland, TX -- Midland, TX Saturday, March 4, 2017: A crash in Midland, Texas left 46-year-old Laura Moreno dead and injured 21-year-old Efren C. Hinojos.

The incident took place on State Highway 158 around 2:15 a.m.

According to officials, the crash involved a pickup truck and a van. According to the report, Mr. Hinojos was traveling along 158 when his vehicle crossed the center line. The vehicle then struck the van occupied by Ms. Moreno. Ms. Moreno was killed at the scene of the incident. Mr. Hinojos was hospitalized with non-incapacitating injuries in the crash.
