Jamison Emerson Griffey Killed in Accident in Greene County, TN

Greene County, TN -- A crash between a passenger vehicle and a semi-truck claimed the life of Jamison Emerson Griffey Tuesday, March 7, 2017.

The incident took place on Baileyton Road around 11:54 a.m.

According to the reports, Mr. Griffey was headed north on Baileyton Road when it collided head-on with the dump truck. Mr. Griffey, 38, was killed in the incident. The driver of the dump truck, 71-year-old Donald R. Foshee, was left without injuries in the crash. The exact cause of the crash had yet to be determined at the time of the report.

The official investigation into the incident is currently underway.
