Woman Injured in Temple, TX, Single 18-wheeler Accident on I-35

Temple, TX -- March 3, 2017, a woman was injured due to an accident where the 18-wheeler in which she was riding crashed on the side of I-35.

Bell County Sheriff's Deputies report that the accident happened near the intersection of I-35 and Highway 363.

According to their preliminary reports, 28-year-old Keith Garris was driving an 18-wheeler along the interstate. For reasons that are not clear, the 18-wheeler lost control and veered toward the median where it crashed into a barrier.

As a result of the collision, Garris's female passenger sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities determined that Garris had outstanding warrants, and he was placed under arrest.

At this time, no additional details have been reported.
