Southlake, TX: One Hurt in Accident at State Highway 114 & North Kimball Avenue

Southlake, TX -- A single-vehicle crash in the area of Dallas, TX left one person hurt around 1 p.m. Monday, March 6, 2017.

The incident took place at State Highway 114 & North Kimball Avenue.

According to police, a black Kia Soul was headed west on the overpass on 114 when it careened into the median. The vehicle subsequently veered off the roadway, crashing onto Kimball Avenue. The driver of the Kia, whose name has not been disclosed, was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

The incident left a portion of the highway closed for several hours.

The official investigation is ongoing and may reveal more details as it concludes.
