One Killed in Accident on Route 3 in Liberty, ME

Liberty, ME -- A crash in between a passenger vehicle and a semi-truck claimed the life of one person in Liberty, ME Monday, March 6, 2017.

The incident took place on Route 3.

According to the early reports, the incident was considered a head-on collision. The truck careened off the roadway, coming to rest in a bog. A passenger in the car was killed as a result of the collision. The driver of the truck was left without injuries. Further details, including the identities of all involved, had yet to be disclosed.

The report made no mention of other injuries in the incident.

The investigation into the deadly crash is ongoing and may reveal more details as it concludes.
