One Killed, Randy Lee Greene Hurt in Accident in Chester, SC

Chester, SC -- A two-vehicle crash involving a passenger car and a semi-truck in the area of Chester, SC Monday, March 6, 2017 claimed the life of one person and left Randy Lee Greene with injuries.

The incident took place along US 21 around 1 p.m.

According to the reports, a sedan was headed north on 21 when it collided with a southbound semi-truck. The driver of the sedan was trapped in the vehicle, and was declared dead after extrication by rescue units. The driver of the big rig, 59-year-old Randy Lee Greene, was left with undisclosed injuries.

The investigation into the incident is currently underway.
