Lambert West Killed in Perry County, AR, Single-Vehicle Accident

Perry County, AR -- March 3, 2017, Lambert West was killed due to an accident in which his vehicle lost control and crashed into a tree.

According to a report from the Arkansas State Police, the accident happened around 4:30 p.m. along State Highway 324.

The preliminary accident report indicates that 62-year-old West was traveling westbound along Highway 324 in a 1999 Dodge. As he did so, the vehicle somehow lost control and veered off of the highway. The vehicle then crashed into a water main before eventually striking a tree and coming to a halt.

Following the crash EMS came out to the scene. They say that West died at the scene. No other injuries were reported.

At this time, State Police investigators continue to look into the cause of the accident. No further information is currently available.
