Two Injured in Kemp, TX, Car Accident on State Highway 274

Kemp, TX -- March 3, 2017, two people were injured as the result of an accident in which two vehicles crashed on State Highway 274.

Troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the accident scene at around 9:30 p.m. The wreck occurred along Texas Highway 274 near Kings Creek.

According to preliminary investigations, two vehicles were traveling along the highway when they somehow crossed paths with one another and crashed. Responding authorities had to close down the roadway.

Reports say that at least two people were taken from the scene, one of which required air transportation. Neither person's condition was specified.

At this time, investigations are still ongoing. No further information is currently available.
