Woman Injured in Richmond Rd. Accident in Lexington, KY

Lexington, KY -- A suspected alcohol related crash in the area of Lexington, KY left one person with undisclosed injuries Friday, February 24, 2017.

The incident took place on Richmond Road around 12:30 a.m.

According to police, the woman's car careened off the roadway, striking a tree. The woman, whose identity has not been revealed, was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. The exact cause of the crash is undetermined.

Investigators in the accident claim they believe alcohol was a factor.
