One Killed in Accident on Mesa Grande in Las Cruces, NM

Las Cruces, NM -- A crash between a motorcycle and a delivery truck in the area of Las Cruces, NM claimed the life of an unidentified 19-year-old teenager Friday, February 24, 2017.

The incident took place on Mesa Grande around 1 p.m.

According to the report, the motorcycle was headed north on Grand Mesa when it collided with the southbound delivery truck. The exact cause of the incident had yet to be determined at the time of the report. The 19-year-old operator of the motorcycle was taken to a local hospital, but was later declared dead.

The official investigation into the incident is ongoing and may reveal more details as it concludes.
