Porter Harper Killed in Train Accident on Trigg Street in Bristol, VA

Bristol, VA -- An incident where a train struck a 17-year-old pedestrian left Porter Harper dead in the area of Bristol, VA around 8:30 p.m. Sunday, February 26, 2017.

The incident took place on Trigg Street.

The details of the incident are unclear, but it looks the teen was struck while walking along the tracks. According to the report, the teen's body was discovered 200 feet west of the grade cross. It is unclear exactly what caused the incident.

Authorities are examining the details of the incident currently.
