Davis Young Killed in Urania, LA, Aerial Lift Accident

Urania, LA -- October 20, 2016, Davis Young was killed due to an accident where he fell while working for German Pellets, LLC.

OSHA authorities report that German Pellets Lousiana mailing address is 4915 Highway 125, Olla, LA 71465. The incident happened in Urania.

In events that have not been made clear, 34-year-old Young was working on top of an aerial lift. For reasons not determined, he somehow fell from the aerial lift to the ground below. He suffered critical injuries as a result and was taken to Rapides Regional Medical Center. He later died there.

The events surrounding the accident are unclear. There was no word on whether or not Young was supplied with proper safety equipment. OSHA did not release any additional details.
