Cody Butts Killed, Thomas Paterno Hurt in Franklin County, PA Accident

Franklin County, PA -- A collision between a Ford SUV and a motorcycle took the life of 25-year-old Cody Butts & left 58-year-old Thomas Paterno in the area of Franklin County, PA.

The incident took place near 12800 Williamsport Pike.

It appears the SUV was headed north when it turned left. In doing so, the SUV collided with a southbound motorcycle. The operator of the motorcycle, Cody Butts, was killed at the scene of the incident. Mr. Paterno, the driver of the SUV, was taken to a local hospital. His current condition is unclear at this time.

The exact cause of the incident had not been determined at the time of the report.

Authorities are currently examining the details of the incident to determine the cause.
