Washington, DC: Worker Killed in Construction Accident at 4600 Dexter St. NW
Washington, DC -- A work related incident in the area of Washington, DC took the life of an unidentified worker Tuesday, February 28, 2017.
The incident took place at 4600 Dexter Street NW around 4 p.m.
According to officials, the incident has been described as a trench collapse. It appears the foundation of the house where the victim was working collapsed. The collapse left the man buried up to his waist and shoulder. Rescue units arrived, but were unable to free the man before he succumbed to his injuries.
