One Killed, One Hurt in Accident on U.S. Highway 52 in Drake, ND

Drake, ND -- A collision between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer left one unidentified person dead, and injured one other in Drake, ND Tuesday, February 28, 2017.

The incident took place on U.S. Highway 52 around 8 a.m.

The details of the incident are unclear, but it looks like the Ford and the Freightliner collided north of Drake. The driver of the Ford was killed at the scene of the incident. The driver of the semi-truck was taken to Minot and was treated fort non-life threatening injuries.

The incident left a portion of the highway closed for several hours.

The media report provided no further information, including the identities of the deceased victims.
