Nicole Jones Killed in Accident in Lehigh Acres, FL

Lehigh Acres, FL -- A suspected alcohol related crash in the area of Lehigh Acres, FL took the life of 47-year-old Nicole Jones Tuesday, February 28, 2017.

The incident took place on Bell Boulevard North.

The details of the incident are unclear, but police say the Chrysler Sebring occupied by the victim was southbound when the incident took place. It appears the vehicle for reasons unknown careened off the roadway, slamming into a tree. The vehicle then flipped, throwing Ms. Jones from the vehicle.

Ms. Jones was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital, but was declared dead.

The exact cause of the incident is undetermined, but police say they believe alcohol was a factor.
