Nouri Hijazi, Dana Hijazi, Adine Farelas & Stacey Pierce Killed in Plane Accident in Riverside, CA

Riverside, CA -- A plane crash in Riverside, CA took the lives 83-year-old Nouri Hijazi, Dana Hijazi, 67, Adine Farelas, 22, and 46-year-old Stacey Pierce and left one hurt Monday, February 27, 2017.

The incident took place near the Riverside Municipal Airport around 4:40 p.m.

According to the media reports, the plane had just taken off when it nose-dived, crashing into a two homes. The crash led to a major fire, according to officials. One of the teenage girls aboard the plane was thrown from the back of the plane. She sustained minor injuries. By the time rescue units arrived, they discovered three people had died, and one was injured. A fourth occupant, Stacey Pierce, died later. All the victims appear to be the occupants of the plane. It appears the victims were heading home after a cheerleading competition that took place over the weekend.

The exact cause of the crash had not been determined at the time of the report.

Authorities are currently investigating the details of the crash in the hopes of determining the cause.
