Two Denton ISD Students Hurt in Accident near 2700 Hillcroft Avenue in Denton, TX

Denton, TX -- Two unidentified Denton ISD students were left with minor injuries in the area of Denton, TX Tuesday, February 28, 2017.

The incident took place near 2700 Hillcroft Avenue around 8:30 a.m.

It looks like the bus containing the injured victims was westbound on Hillcroft when it struck a parked the car. The initial collision forced the first vehicle into a second vehicle.

Of the 40 students aboard the bus, two teens--aged 16 & 18, respectively--were injured in the incident.

The identities of the injured victims have not been disclosed.

The report claims the driver of the bus was uninjured in the incident.

The official investigation is ongoing and may reveal more details as it concludes.

The preliminary media report provided no further information at the time of its release.
