Tyler Cherrington Killed in Accident in Douglas County, NE

Douglas County, NE -- A collision between a tractor-trailer and an SUV claimed the life of 19-year-old Tyler Cherrington in the area of Douglas County, NE Sunday, February 26, 2017.

The incident happened on Highway 275 around 6:30 p.m.

According to the report, Ms. Cherrington's SUV was headed west on 275 when it collided with an oncoming semi in the eastbound lanes. Police officials say Ms. Cherrington was killed at the scene of the incident. The report made no mention of other injuries. The exact cause of the deadly crash had not been determined at the time of the report.
