Keaton Delk Killed in Accident in Houston County, TX

Houston County, TX -- A truck crash in the area of Houston County, TX took the life of Keaton Delk on FM 357 around 9:15 a.m. Thursday, February 23, 2017.

According to the reports, the Freightliner truck occupied by the victim was southbound on 357. The truck, driven by 30-year-old Joshua Sylvenstine, for reasons unclear, careened off the right side of the road. The vehicle then over-corrected, sliding back over FM 357, striking a tree.

Mr. Sylvestine and Mr. Delk were thrown from the vehicle.

Mr. Delk was killed in the incident.

The exact cause of the incident is ongoing.

There was no further information provided by the preliminary press release.
