Round Rock, TX: Fifth Grade Student of Round Rock ISD Dies in Incident on Bus

Round Rock, TX -- An emergency situation on a school bus led to the death of an unidentified Round Rock ISD student in Round Rock, TX Thursday, February 23, 2017.

According to the report, the bus was on its after-school route when the driver pulled over for an emergency situation. It is unclear at this time exactly what occurred, but police say they arrived around 3:20 p.m. Officials are claiming the student died from what is believed to be an underlying medical condition.

The report provided no more information regarding the incident.

Further information, including the victim's identity, had not been disclosed at the time of the report.

Authorities are examining the details of the incident.
