4 Injured in Dallas, TX, Multi-Vehicle Accident on LBJ Freeway

Dallas, TX -- February 26, 2017, at least four people were injured due to an accident where four vehicles crashed along the LBJ Freeway.

The Dallas Police Department and other emergency personnel were called out to the accident scene around 4:15 a.m. The accident happened near the intersection of I-635 and Greenville Avenue in North Dallas.

Preliminary accident reports indicate that an SUV and a Chevy Camaro crashed into each other in the eastbound lanes of the interstate. Following this, the SUV was hit by a sedan which was in turn hit by a fourth vehicle.

As a result of the collision, emergency crews required four ambulances to transport people to the hospital. It's unclear who came from which vehicle or what the severity of the injuries was.

Authorities did not say if charges or citations were being considered. They did not report any additional details surrounding the accident.
