Bobby Luckey Killed in Coppell, TX, Work Accident

Coppell, TX -- February 9, 2017, Bobby Luckey suffered fatal injuries due to an accident where he was hit by equipment while working.

Authorities have released details concerning the fatal work accident, which occurred at a construction site in Andrew Brown Park.

According to reports, 34-year-old Luckey was working for Southern Sales as a subcontractor on the construction site. His work involved removing equipment from the site which was no longer being used.

While Luckey was doing this, the hook of a large winch somehow struck him in the head, inflicting fatal injuries. Officials stated this was the result of the hook connection and a chain failing and recoiling back at Luckey. The cause of this has yet to be determined.

County and OSHA authorities continue to look into the fatal accident. They have not released any additional information at this time.
