One Killed in Multi-Vehicle Accident on Interstate 15 in San Diego, CA

San Diego, CA -- A multi-vehicle crash in the area of San Diego, CA took the life of one unidentified person Friday, February 17, 2017.

The incident took place on Interstate 15 around 5:15 p.m.

According to police, the victim was a passenger in a Geo Prism involved in an accident with three other vehicles. It appears one of the vehicles may have hydroplaned at a high rate of speed, leading to the collision.

The exact cause of the crash had yet to be determined at the time of the report.

More information, including the identity and details of the deceased victim, may become known as the investigation concludes.

The report made no mention of other injuries in the incident.
