Kyle Brandon Mabrey Killed in Accident on I-459 in Bessemer, AL

Bessemer, AL -- A single-vehicle crash in the area of Bessemer, AL took the life of 42-year-old Kyle Brandon Mabrey Monday, February 20, 2017.

The incident took place on I-459.

The details of the incident are sparse. According to the reports, the vehicle occupied by 42-year-old Kyle Brandon Mabrey left the roadway. The vehicle for unclear reasons careened off the interstate between the north and southbound lanes near exit 1. The victim's vehicle stopped next to the tracks. The victim's boat and trailer landed on the tracks, and Mr. Mabrey was killed as his vehicle was struck by a passing train.

The exact cause of the incident had not been determined at the time of the report.
