10-Year-Old Boy Killed in UTV Accident at Browning School Road Montcalm, WV

Montcalm, WV -- An incident involving a UTV took the life of an unidentified 10-year-old boy in the area of Montcalm, WV Thursday, February 23, 2017.

The crash occurred on Browning School Road around 6:43 p.m.

According to the reports, emergency crews were called to the scene of a collision involving a UTV. Police say upon their arrival, they found the UTV had rolled over onto the victim. Rescue units immediately began life-saving procedures on the boy, and were able to transfer him to a local hospital. The 10-year-old victim was declared dead a short time later.

The exact cause of the incident is unclear.

Officials are examining the details of the crash currently.
