Woman Injured in Houston, TX, Hit-and-run Accident on Westheimer

Houston, TX -- February 24, 2017, a woman was injured following an accident where a vehicle hit her on Westheimer Road and fled the scene.

The incident occurred outside of a Valero station located at the corner of Westheimer Road and Montrose Boulevard in the early morning hours of Friday.

Preliminary investigations indicate that a vehicle was pulling out of the gas station onto Westheimer when it crashed into the pedestrian. The vehicle immediately sped away from the scene and left the injured woman behind.

Emergency services were able to come to the scene and transport the woman to a nearby hospital. Her condition was not specified.

Authorities have not offered any suspect descriptions at this time. Their investigations are ongoing.
