Students Injured in Dallas County, MO, Bus Accident on Culpepper

Dallas County, MO -- February 23, 2017, several students were injured following an accident where a school bus and a car crashed on Culpepper Road.

According to reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred in the morning hours at the intersection of Culpepper and Slagle.

Their investigations indicate that the Dallas County ISD school bus was transporting approximately 40 students at the time. Somehow when crossing the intersection the bus and a pickup crashed into each other.

As a result of the collision,a t least six students were taken to a hospital. Their injuries were not specified. It's unclear if anyone from the pickup was hurt.

Authorities did not report any charges or citations following the collision. They have not released any additional details at this time.
