3 Injured in San Antonio, TX, Single-Vehicle Accident on Fredericksburg

San Antonio, TX -- February 23, 2017, three people sustained injuries following an accident where their car hit a pole off of Fredericksburg Road.

The San Antonio Police Department and other emergency personnel were called to the intersection of Fredericksburg Road and Oaklawn Drive at around 10:30 a.m.

According to their preliminary investigations, three people were in a car that was driving down Fredericksburg. For reasons that aren't clear, the vehicle lost control and went off-road. The car hopped a curb and crashed into a utilities pole.

As a result of the collision, all three occupants sustained injuries, though authorities did not specify the severity of their conditions. They were transported to a local hospital.

The exact cause of the accident is not currently clear. Police continue their investigations.
