Michael Boslett Killed in Accident in Gettysburg, PA

Gettysburg, PA -- A two-vehicle collision in the area of Gettysburg, PA claimed the life of 44-year-old Michael Boslett Tuesday, February 21, 2017.

The crash happened at West Middle & Baltimore Streets about 6:22 p.m.

At the time of the report, it looked like Mr. Boslett was headed east on West Middle. At some point, his vehicle collided with the rear bumper of a second vehicle. The collision caused Mr. Boslett's vehicle to jump the curb, cross both lanes of Baltimore Street, subsequently striking a utility pole. Mr. Boslett was killed at the scene of the incident, according to the report. At the time of the incident, officials had yet to disclose the cause.

There was no further information made available by the report.

The official investigation is currently underway.
