Man Injured in Vehicle vs. Pedestrian Accident at Wilson Rd & Westminster Drive Bakersfield, CA Accident

Bakersfield, CA -- A collision between a passenger vehicle and a pedestrian in the area of Bakersfield, CA left one person with injuries Tuesday, February 21, 2017.

The incident took place at Wilson Road & Wesminster Drive around 8:15 p.m.

The early media reports claim the incident occurred as a westbound car crossed into the far side of the road. The male pedestrian was killed at the scene of the incident. The victim's identity has not been disclosed at the time of the report. The exact cause of the incident is unclear.

At the time of the report, officials were conducting the official investigation into the deadly incident.
