Belinda Gordon Killed in Fulshear, TX, Car Accident

Fulshear, TX -- February 21, 2017, Belinda Gordon was killed as the result of an accident where her car was hit by a pickup hauling a trailer.

According to Fort Bend County authorities, the crash happened in the morning hours of Tuesday at the intersection of FM 359 and Rogers Road.

Police investigators say that 56-year-old Gordon was heading home after dropping her children off at school. She was traveling on Rogers Road in a silver car and came to FM 359. In events that aren't entirely clear, she turned onto FM 359 and was struck on the left side by a red pickup which was hauling a flatbed trailer.

As a result of the collision, Gordon suffered fatal injuries, and she died at the scene. It's unclear if the pickup driver was injured.

At this time, police have not reported any charges or citations. They say the accident is still being investigated.
