One Hurt in I-35 Truck Accident in Dallas, TX

Dallas, TX -- A crash involving an 18-wheeler left one person with injuries in the area of Dallas, TX Tuesday, February 21, 2017.

The incident took place on Interstate 35 near Royal Lane Tuesday afternoon.

The details of the incident are sparse, but police say the 18-wheeler for reasons unclear overturned, catching fire. The driver of the truck, whose name has not been identified, was hospitalized. They were last listed in critical condition. The report made no mention of other injuries related to the crash.

The incident left a portion of the highway closed for several hours.
