John Matousek Killed, One Hurt in Accident on U.S. 81 in Waukomis, OK

Waukomis, OK -- An alleged road rage incident in the area of Waukomis, OK left John Matousek dead, and injured one Saturday, February 18, 2017.

The crash happened on U.S. 81 around 10 p.m.

The early media reports claim a vehicle occupied by an angry driver was heading south in the northbound lanes. At some point, the vehicle crossed the median, made a U-turn, and headed back towards the southbound lanes. During the police pursuit, the vehicle collided with the deceased victim's passenger car, killing Mr. Matusek at the scene.

The driver in the vehicle being pursued was taken to a local hospital with undisclosed injuries.

The identity of the injured driver has not been revealed.

At the time of the media report, officials were still investigating the cause of the incident.
